I think we should have a "coder's high" like runner's high. The hyped feeling after a successful and uninterrupted coding session.

I want to build and grow a company. Slowly, eventually not exponentially. It doesn't have to be a tech company, it better not to be a tech company.

As I am watching a DIY video on YouTube, auto subtitles picked drilling sound as "[MUSIC]" and it's kinda right. Drilling can sound like a music to makers' ears. 😂

Kendi eliyle ve keyfi olarak interneti çalışmaz kılan devletin, Google hizmetleri 2 saat çalışmadı diye Google'dan yazılı açıklama istemesi bir bana mı gülünç geliyor? 🧐😉

The culture of working in tech these days is being constantly worried about being overworked or unemployed.

Take care of yourselves. We are replaceable cogs to our employers but irreplaceable to our family and friends.

If you are in a job where you have face to face conversations with your customer. Your attitude can make or break your customer base. Be kind!

I mean always be kind, you don't have to be a salesperson to apply kindness in your life.

I rode to a random town today. I stopped for a coffee and bio break at a gas station.

And to my surprise, the restroom of this gas station had a helmet shelf for riders. ❤️❤️❤️ It is a thoughtful detail.

10/10 definitely will "go" again 😂

Single player games should not, in fact, require an internet connection.

Having access to a 3D Printer is an interesting luxury. I can design and print small solutions. It feels like creating that little automation script which saves you hours of repetitive work.

And I am lucky to work in an office with a 3D printer. If I ever resign I have to buy one for myself. 😅

I really enjoyed this game. Hidden-information sauce adds a delicious twist. Even when playing against "random bot".
My latest side project: Tic Tac Toe as a hidden-information game! Play live vs a friend, a rando, or a bot at kttt.io. Inspired by Zach Wienersmith (of SMBC fame): mastodon.social/@ZachWeiners...

My new post is online. It's about how I picked my canvas size for pixel art. I am a complete new starter, and trying to find my style. So take this post with a grain of salt. Enjoy.

So I started documenting my thoughts and process on devlog.canburaktumer.com

Today's post is an introduction to the game I am planning to develop and it questions if I should have a storyline in the game. devlog.canburaktumer.com/posts/articl...

Also you'll find my hand crafted pixel-art there.

#GameDev Diaries

As a side project, I decided to pick up game development again after seeing a random Godot video on YouTube.

I have been to Game Jams like 15 years ago with Flash games and text based adventures.

I will document my progress under this post as a chain.

I am not an artist, but I like pixel art games. So I decided to learn more about how to design. I enjoyed the process a lot.

I was laid-off and am looking for a new role.

Working were design meets code is my jam. I am skilled at building accessible design system components, working with Web Components APIs, and creating scalable CSS architecture.

I work remotely from my home in Manitoba, Canada. 🇨🇦

Shares appreciated!

I stumbled on my first YouTube disclaimer that says no AI used, the place is real, the music is real and so on. That's my expectation from the future.

Like the hand crafted things, no-AI creatives will be more valuable while the AI generated or AI assisted ones will become mainstream.

A small airfield merely 50km from the home. The road there is going through a forest patch, which makes a great ride.

After 6 years of break to riding, it feels great to feel like a part of the community. Hailing other riders, the wind, the fresh smell of Thymian and trees.
