Slowly raising his hand as a volunteer “oh oh throw me at the sun!” He has not a hint of magic unless you count making anything into an explosive weapon. Also he doesn’t have much if any sanity. Will it hurt? Maybe a little, he will laugh like it tickles though.
Kryptonite isn't my only weakness, but I don't know any magician that can survive on the surface of the sun to test magic.

Crime never sleeps, nor does he unless he has to hibernate. So for the moment to pass time he is at a campfire, which may or may not been set in a dumpster. Could he have settled with a hotel room but no, he likes living it rough. Feel free to join him or offer food.
