What do you guys think about 3D shoulder Chapter Symbols on Primaris Marines vs decals (visually/cool factor)?
I've got a custom chapter & was thinking custom decals but that'll be kinda expensive compared to using the resin printer I already have 🤔

Never thought I'd paint anymore Marines 😆
1st 3 Cerulean Knights Intercessors are done! And just in time for their debut in a custom #Necromunda scenario, that wraps up our Uprising Campaign, this Thursday!
Maybe one day I'll actually order custom chapter symbol decals for their other shoulders 🤔

Never thought I'd paint anymore Marines 😆
1st 3 Cerulean Knights Intercessors are done! And just in time for their debut in a custom #Necromunda scenario, that wraps up our Uprising Campaign, this Thursday!

Here's some Space Wolf Wulfen that I converted for a "Worgen" Warcry Warband. Narratively they are kinda like the meaty version of Sylvaneth.
They don't use metal & they have runic magic tattoos that cause things like wolverine claws or wings.

So long as you are actively drawing air out of the box (& sending it outdoors) you're good
You can test for negative pressure with a lighter like this (put the lighter to a box seam)
If the flame angles toward the seam it demonstrates that clean air is being sucked in (& not vapors pushed out)

Sounds like you're doing the right things with washing curing. I consider my printer, wash stations, & curing station to be "dirty" and wear gloves/respirator for all of that.
I also swirl the plate in a "dirty" IPA bucket prior to using the wash station to keep the wash station IPA cleaner.

I've never found any #Necromunda bridges/walkways that I liked. I've tried to find something that has sides/walls, looks "good", isn't too chunky, & prints FDM as one piece w/ no supports.
So I made my own! The floor is remixed from another's work. The sides I made from scratch

And I guess it's still pretty hard to detect in the photos but here's some "normal" Pink Horrors that didn't get the Mother Lode glaze.

I use Testors Dullcote & like it a lot
I tried Liquitex through the airbrush &, yeah, it was way too matte (& and I couldn't get it to not frost on dark colors)
But, agree, too matte is lifeless
These guys are finished with Dullcote. (Old pics but I haven't broken out the good camera in a while)
