Thankfully the Kennedy Center was open and able to host such an event.. Luckily it was a matinee, so Trump could get home in time for his early supper.

And he’s got that ‘Groundskeeper Carl’ mouth happening.

“Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know."And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consiousness."

When a college dorm year came to a close we had to patch holes in the walls to avoid fines. Toothpaste usually worked. When the next President comes in, he/she should hand Trump a tube of Colgate and tell him to “take his cheesy gallery of presidential portraits and patch every goddamn nail hole.”

I grew up in Dallas. Seemed like every year (around the 70s, 80s) you could always count on a New Year's ice storm, from those howlers that screamed across the plains. Canadian cold + Gulf moisture... And no one down there knows how to drive in cold weather.

Dumb guy question: why is this notable? Is it because it's usually snow at this time off year, so it being an ice storm is odd?

When I was in the Marine Corps we did a thing in Norway, 1991. We were up there with our huge Hummers on their skinny, sloped roads and always slid into the ditch (to yield to the weegee civilian cars). The Norway forces had these skinny Benzes and always pulled us out of those ditches. Torque.
