No creepy DMs. I'm married and not interested.
I'm sorry to hear about Seguin's injury! What is with all the ACL injuries in the league this year?!

What will the First Lady choose? Slovenia or the US? What will Barron choose, Slovenia or the US?

What will Elon choose?

A12 #ParkChat Were we going to do a ParkChat gift exchange this year? I forget who usually set up the Elfster exchange.

This was one of our favorite items at the Garfield site (right, @ecb08.bsky.social ?) -- the chair! #ParkChat

Congrats for not barfing!

(though I'm jealous you got to go there! Dry Tortugas and Isle Royale are two bucket list items for me)

I first visited the Garfield site in 2016 (with my friends on our way home from Cleveland; we also stopped at Cuyahoga Valley). I started following the Twitter account thereafter. When the account hosted ParkChat, that was my first exposure to what is now my standing Wednesday night plans! #ParkChat

I'm so glad Dr. Todd is on BlueSky now! Thank you for hosting tonight, and great questions! #ParkChat

A11 #ParkChat I'm going to leave that one up to @59nationalparks.bsky.social and @naturetechfam.bsky.social though I suspect it would be somewhere close to the Black Hills.

I wouldn't be sad if it was at James Garfield NHS though. I discovered ParkChat because of Garfield social media!

A10 #ParkChat Badlands. Voyageurs. C&O Canal. I just like being outside. And I discover or get to share new things every time I visit these places.

A9 #ParkChat A new Interior Secretary who actually values our public lands for their historical, ecological and cultural importance, and not for how much money they can make for their billionaire friends?

A fully funded budget to that will allow for full staffing, and to catch up on backlogs?

I want to say Sand Creek. #ParkChat

A8 #ParkChat This is a tough question, and I'm not sure I want to answer it.

A7 #ParkChat Probably at Antietam, mainly because that's where my mom lives.

As long as they make sure all of his problematic issues are also on full display, namely the blatant racism.

A6 #ParkChat I'm not sure there is one that "should" have one who is currently missing. Maybe Gerald Ford, as the first and only president who was a park ranger?

A5 #ParkChat @1breannaclaire.bsky.social! This is our question! 😆

For me, it's Bonneville. The Wendover Historic Airfield and the salt flats are both significant for historical, cultural and ecological reasons.

A4 #ParkChat Honestly? Nowhere. These days, I kind of prefer the natural fireworks of meteors and auroras.

Too many people think their fireworks shows are the best, and it's actually kind of annoying. Here's a video from our hotel in 2018 in Omaha, having run out for Pat's dad's illness.

4. Where do you think would be the perfect spot to watch fireworks on July 4, 2026? #ParkChat

This would be my second answer, though I will admit that I try my best to make sure Indigenous history is woven into what I teach, which is easy since they have a lot of biological and ecological knowledge. #ParkChat

A3 #ParkChat One of the stories that really blew me away was Maggie L. Walker's. I went to the NHS during my winter break in 2016, and I was just floored. How did I never hear of this woman before my visit? She was amazing and inspiring. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR3C...

There are supposed to be tall ships coming into Baltimore for the 250th. At the end of June, IIRC. #ParkChat

A2 #ParkChat I remember there was a bicentennial, but not much about it (I was 5). We probably went to the Carroll Co. fireworks show in Westminster (as usual), and maybe a Union Bridge parade for July 4th.
