Karoline Lindgaard, Alternativet candidate for Lord Mayor, stands holding the handle of a big green suitcase.The green is the party’s signature colour. Beside her is a parking space set up like a student residence, with a bed, a nightstand, a lamp, a desk, a chair, an art easel with a sign on it, and a bicycle - all in that exact same shade of green. Karoline is a young white woman with blonde hair and she is wearing a black business suit and black shoes. Behind her are several cars parked in parking spaces identical to the one she has filled with furniture. Behind that you can see a street and people moving about in cars, on bikes, and on foot. The text on the easel reads “Hvor skal vi parkere ungdommen?”, or roughly translated to English, “Where should we park the youth?” The image is taken from her Instagram account (check it out!) and is just one slide in a series. This slide is superimposed with text that reads “Når jeg snakker med folk, så er det vigtigste problem for dem stjældent det at finde en parkeringsplads i byen! Det klart storage problem jeg hører om hver dag er, at det er tæet på umuligt at sinde en bolig mere end seks måneder af gangen som også er til at betale.” Or (very) roughly translated to English, "When I talk to people, the most important problem for them is not finding a parking space in the city! The obvious storage problem I hear about every day is that it is almost impossible to rent a home for more than six months at a time that is also affordable."
