Gotta say, of all the Bow River pathway segments, whoever is responsible for the Eau Claire segment did the worst job.

Cleared, even managed to scrape off the top layer with minimal effort. Took me half a lunch to widen both sides, woulda been 5 mins in a Bobcat

No. 3, lady in an SUV on the Stampede Grounds going too fast, turns aggressively and loses control.
I mean, it's a bike path and I wasn't a pedestrian, so I guess she didn't have to slow down, but it probably would have saved her losing control.

Thankfully I anticipated this stupidity and slowed, otherwise, yup, goner. No obstructed sight lines, I'm sure he saw me from a mile away.

They’ve dumped a bunch of chemicals, some sections of RiverWalk better than others. Hopefully the warmer weather clears the slush out… #yycbike

Was still there at 10… street sweeper came down for… reasons. Removed and widened.

Resolved… I think they sent a sweeper to do a hand shovel’s job. Moved the snow pile, widened the path on both sides, scraped quite a bit of the ice off. Safe travels… #yycbike

I’m not sure about Stanley Park (prob some chance it’s done, though 42 Ave MUP still done at about 5 pm), but the part of the trail up to Elbow was getting done when I was riding later. Nice, compacted snow… enjoy it before it turns to ice #yycbike
