Nut butters, avocado, farmers cheese, or tinned fish on toast, hummus and precut veggies (also makes a good sandwich or wrap), whole fruit. Some grocery stores also have some premade meals that aren't too bad.

I mask in public spaces too. The looks/comments are annoying sometimes, but people usually mind their own business. If someone does ask why I'm wearing a mask I usually say something like "I have important event soon"/"I'm trying to avoid getting sick" and that has been received well.

Every economic headline is about further austerity measures, tariffs, or other indirect taxes while uncertainty and AI threaten to shrink the economy further. There's not much to feel good about unless you're already well off or delusional enough to think this magically won't affect you.

Part of that is because social media is monitored, and frankly I don't want certain things to be public. But also, to be perfectly honest...it's not about me. I don't do what I do for an audience or for public consumption. It's about the people who need help, and their needs, and their dignity.
