A closer look at my recent design roast.
- I animated the gradient background, and it is VERY SUBTLE!
- I also fixed the vertical alignment of the hero content because the "Try it" part pushed the content up a bit.

→ Changed the whole vibe to something more relaxing to reflect the easiness his app provides
→ Changed the copy, not many people will understand UX
→ Removed badges and stats that most people won't understand
→ Simplified the demo input form

Currently, for building projects I'm mainly rocking:
- PocketBase for Auth, Database Migrations .etc.
- HTMX for frontend and interactivity (I really hate maintaining client and server state independently)
- Tailwind to make me tolerable at design (it really works)

It amazed me how much #spam I got launching my HTMX + Go powered SaaS webmaillookup.com. Was originally super excited to see over 100 sign ups in a day, until I realised 99% of them were spammers.
I figure the server-side-rendering must make some bots think it's blogging software. #buildinpublic
