Tätigkeit der Hypophyse - A reminder from 2021 of what is accelerating today - a rapidly growing global intolerance of anything and anyone portrayed as different or dissident.

A colorful art print titled "Tätigkeit der Hypophyse," created in 2021 to highlight rising global intolerance. Nine rainbow- colored squares form a background for the traditional religious symbol of the all-seeing eye, also found on the US dollar bill, and conspiracy theories. The eye is accompanied by colored tags used in camps during World War II to mark not only Jews and homosexuals, but also the disabled and Gypsies. Mixed in with these are tears that leak from each coloured space. At the bottom we see a keyhole, an old symbol of religion and esotericism.
