At what point does choosing not to know become its own kind of horror?

The world needs more positivity. The Internet has been a dark place since we all discovered that pissing people off is more engaging than anything good.

Some monsters don’t live in the dark.

I've been toying with the idea of: Would I like it more if it wasn't It and it was just a different spook clown? I don't want to say that it feels like Andy doesn't understand It, but we take such radical departures from core aspects of It. Where's the quiet dread? The luring? Why parents helping?
