I really do feel that way. And it’s not bc they’re my guys as I’d probs swap the Leafs for like…a bunch of teams. 🫠 The 2025 Jays were an absolutely perfect group of guys. I’ll love them forever. I wish so much they could have gotten one more hit but I wouldn’t trade them for the team that did.
The wise @butchface.bsky.social said it best last night: I wouldn’t trade the 2025 Blue Jays for the entire Dodgers roster. That’s why the outcome, and the details of how it unfolded, of last night’s game don’t sting as much as they otherwise might to me.

When the Raps made the finals I was overjoyed, but I rued that our chance was coming against a defending champion juggernaut. What a shame, I thought.

I will never ever ever understand bunting with zero out and a man on second. I would wager a line out double play happens REALLY FUCKING RARELY at second, probably way more rarely than a guy getting thrown out at third on a sac bunt when he’s the tying fucking run.
