The frozen yogurt of people: Fine, but no one's first choice. Film person/aspiring filmmaker. @Burtonesque89 on Letterboxd. I blather on about movies and SNL and Futurama/The Simpsons and the Tim Burton oeuvre, and there's very little else to me.
The film that wound up the #1 ...I can't believe I wasn't thinking about that being the #1, but I was so fixated on...that other film, the almost-#1...but no matter, the one at the top here is a electric knockout masterpiece.

Gilda & Laraine going into "Raylettes mode" in the third part of the Beethoven runner...probably one of my favorite moments in the original era.

Didn't know they'd published any such thing 'til just now, and...glad I haven't seen it yet.

"I am both looking forward to it & dreading it in equal measure."

The response I'm after whenever I throw out ANY suggestion!

Meanwhile, EASY A, terrific movie, I vividly remember watching it in 2010 thinking, "Oh, Emma Stone's a movie star, we're all agreed, yes?" Thankfully...yes!

Ooh, I love when I can take the Burton route:

Theroux - BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE - Michael Keaton - CARS - Hunt

Definitey agreed on both - but the latter's the headline for me. I'm stil so ready for more of that cast/crew, plus Daley & Goldstein would seem a great fit for THAT cast/crew.

What say you, I wonder, about John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein being onboard - as has been reported - to direct a STAR TREK movie? I mean, if you're like ME, you first say, "I'll believe it when I'm in a theater watching it, at this point," but other than that...

My #1 has actually remained BLACK BAG. We'll see if ol' Benoit Blanc or anyone else takes over that top spot.

I don't really do the "head canon" thing much...but I said "much," and in mine for this, Domingo got in a car with Toonces at the wheel, and...well, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I feel like I'm taking the tree out earlier every year.

Of all the movies/franchises to NOT have a tie-in with a pizza chain...

However, I did somewhat surprise myself by having more pure Farley showcases on my Top 50 Live Sketches list than Belushi showcases.
November 21, 2025 at 6:35 PM
Belushi - and the easy "why" is "because he never became a predictable caricature of himself during ℎ𝑖𝑠 tenure on the show" (to me, anyway). We also got to see a wider emotional range from Belushi - not that Farley didn't have range or some depths, but they leant into shticks more with him, I feel.

As it should, Quaids.
