Though there were the usual quota of racists and snobs and bullies back then, you couldn’t swagger about being a nazi. We’d just beaten them, comics portrayed them as snivelling cowards, small boys wouldn’t even pretend. Farage would have been the deviant outlier then.

Remember how every time she tried something different she got lambasted for it? That poor woman couldn’t catch a break for more than two years while in Westminster they cosplayed at being statesmen and partied.
