I do video encoding. Mostly toku. Feel free to use any of my videos for fansubs.
It's the standard DNR they do for BDs these days. And some of their earlier BDs, it was MUCH worse. And I suspect they switched to those only because the BD masters were done.

The BDs will look better. ToeiCH uses MPEG2 like DVDs, and is scruntched horizontally. BDs won't have either of those, and have a higher bandwidth to boot.

I'd prefer they do Jetman and Carranger-Timeranger first. Those didn't even get SD remasters for DVD aside from the first five episodes of Carranger.
