There is no safe way to store data on the cloud. Do we not understand that Trump controls NSA, FBI, CIA, DHS? Who is naive enough to think a local or state regulation can stand up to the most sophisticated tech spies on the planet? If it's on the cloud, it's Trump's data to do with as he pleases.

What could possibly go wrong with setting up AI enhanced cameras around voting sites when the current administration has done everything they can to lie about voter fraud?
Is it inappropriate for the auditor's office to be pretending to support this man who was spied on by the government while they defend setting up spyware for the Trump administration that will surely scare minorities even more than it scares me?

I'm watching this happen in my county, the byproduct of misogynists with too much power. We fight this with empathy and patience, recognizing that powerful men manipulate and coerce to divide and conquer.

Our sheriff keeps talking about great the capabilities of Flock cameras and catching criminals

Yeah, well, Nazis were very good at surveillance, too

Maybe installing the Trump surveillance system isn't worth it

I'm very disturbed that so many of our elected officials are revealing themselves to be Trump loyalists. We don't want his surveillance system and will fight to protect ourselves from their participation in his regime of violence and repression.

Excellent effort to limit corporate surveillance, but critically flawed. Once Flock & their partner Palantir is in control of or analyzing data, the idea of being able to control what happens to it is just not practical.

Surveillance should only be done by the government, period.

i posted a lot about the US involvement in Sudan through the UAE with our arms deals that propped up Palantir, Anduril & SpaceX.

Crickets.

But now the US attacks Venezuela... all eyes on the action, right? Friends, we must step up our game. We could have been protesting these forces for years!

There's no chance of winning unless we understand what DOGE, Flock cameras, and the attack on Venezuela all have in common

This is from the 1930s, but it's the same movement today.

We need to recognize that Democrats have partnered with the Kingmakers who put Trump in power. Allowing SpaceX to provide satellites in Ukraine, partnering with Anduril in the UAE, and local governments installing Flock surveillance cameras controlled by Thiel's techno-feudalist club.

Why does AI suck?

Because the tech bros want you to hate it. They want you to think it doesn't work, that it's about stupid photos and homicidal therapists.

They do this to get ahead of the game, to develop systems that outcompete the government.

It's their strategy to end Democracy.

It took the Epstein files for the Federal government to decriminalize weed.

In the United States, it's more important to protect the privacy of a victim than it is to prevent another act of abuse. I understand this, but so I accept the argument that it's worth it?

For nearly a century, foreign policy efforts warned against the dangers of a Russo-Chinese alliance. That alliance formed under Biden, in direct response to AUKUS, and the invasion of Europe started within months. But we don't talk about this, because solving it would mean de-escalation with China.

The correct solution to the national debt is inflation. 7% for 7 years is a 50% reduction in value.

Most Americans are in debt. What's a solution? ☝️

But... How about driving inflation through investing in workers and the poor so that it actually works?
