On occasion, the apps I use for my kids school get better. But I’m not certain there was a way to make them worse.

Any change was statistically likely to be a better user experience.

You nailed it! Tech is quite broad, and it’s ok to change specialties.

I used to love developing on mobile. Once enterprise got deeply embedded, and people grew weary of apps, I knew it was my time to find something else. It obviously worked out.

Everyone we work with is hell bent on making VR work. I’m so proud of that fact.

I get exposed to a lot of external cynicism. I don’t understand why anyone would spend so much energy on something they have grown to despise.

OTOH this is the internet so 🤷

I can work with music I already know and that’s about it. The only time I’ve ever listened to a podcast while gaming was farming resources in Destiny.

I don’t know how people work with YouTube on. Podcasts with story games. Whew.

They’re stiff because when we originally developed JS we made gloved hands to account for iffy hand tracking. If you had big clumsy hands you wouldn’t notice when the tracking failed.

We just got rid of locomotion entirely in our latest game. Designed interesting spaces and dynamics for players. Our audience doesn’t appear to miss it.

Yes and squinting. The arm swing speed is so variable that it’s tough to stomach.

I can do about 30 min in the super high motion stuff before I’m pale and sweating.
