As a profound lover of the '05 version I think it's all about what you're looking for. If you want something that's more accurate to the novel and time period in general, BBC is the only choice. If you're looking for VIBES and don't mind a more abridged modern twist, then it's '05.

It's also worth mentioning that chitons are a unisex garment that can be short or long. The distinction of a chiton is based on how it is wrapped around the body.

The Erinyes were frequently depicted in shorter dresses in artwork. My guess is, the Ancient Greeks thought of them as huntresses of people rather than animals.

I seem to remember them as dog-headed, and indeed there is evidence that they were depicted as such (though not in Ancient Greece), but I can't find much evidence of that. Still looks cool though and a nice way to further distinguish them from the Gorgons
