@lincolncityfc.bsky.social 1-0 win at Wigan saw Michael Skubala become just the 11th Imps manager to reach 20 away wins in regular season Football League matches. He has reached the figure in the 2nd fewest number of games.

1/3 It wasn't a great surprise that 3 loan players have departed @lincolncityfc.bsky.social this month with two returning, for now, to their parent clubs and one instantly joining one of City's League 2 rivals.

2/3 Frankie Okoronkwo has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan so will probably face us later this season. He is, as far as I can recall, the only Imp to have his first name on the back of his shirt rather than his surname!

Lincoln City And The Budget Table – It’s Worth a Discussion
Lincoln City and the budget table get talked about endlessly on the Stacey West, often as a blunt instrument to accentuate performance and league position, but the reality is far more nuanced than a single table showing who spends what on wages. Here's a fact: we're punching well above our weight in terms of the budget table, but that's wage budget.

Christmas Comes Early At The Bank: Imps 2-1 Cardiff City
Christmas came early at the Bank, and a super Imps performance brought three points from a game that, for many, will live long in the memory. It had it all, excitement, jeopardy, questions being answered and a strong referee who ensured it remained about the players. The fog added an ethereal feel, the cold swirled around the ground as a proper December tie saw us move into second for Christmas.

Imps’ Loanee Sees World Cup Hopes Hang In The Balance
Justin Obikwu's Trinidad and Tobago were eliminated from World Cup qualification last night, while Dexter Lembikisa sees his hopes of travelling hanging in the balance. Trinidad and Jamaica met in a must-win game for the former, while the Reggae Boyz were relying on results elsewhere, giving them a hand. The first half drifted by without much drama, yet the visitors struck early in the second period when Renaldo Cephas timed his run perfectly, cut inside from the left, and rolled a cool finish into the bottom corner.

'How are you going to write that up' was one challenge I got on the way out last night. The answer? 'Probably won't'. I was upset after the defeat.
