Here's my Thanksgiving dinner.

Everything was excellent, made me feel like being back in Hong Kong. But specifically the garlic gailan is completely spectacular.

Idk what they did to get this crispy garlic but it's deep and rich without being burnt.

Super

Okay. I'm fine with you having mini bar overpriced items.

Do you really have to fill the entire fridge to make it completely useless?

Like a holiday inn doesn't do this, you pay more and get a less useful room.

Tried but missed with this cookie. It looks impressive and interesting but wish it was softer with the ghram square flavor better integrated. Still I'd rather it be interesting than expensive and boring.

Okay I am not joking that this aquarium Cafe has one of the best salmon chowders and fish tacos I've ever had.

Remarkably well balanced chowder with rich salmon flavor and the tacos have a fantastic touch with tempura flakes.

This is an aquarium Cafe wtf.

This is better Singapores zoo food hall.

A pet peeve is that places like this have overpriced food but also often unintetesting. If I'm going to be price gouged at least give me something interesting and thematic.

Jalapeño cheese and bacon waffle fish, as well as apple cinnamon waffle fish definitely qualify.

The facility is impressive. It's smaller than Seattle but the place seems nicer and a lot more mammals.

I don't mind spending the money that ends up supporting things like this, there are worst ways to part with your money.

Argh. No Ivars clam chowder on the train. Got a sammich which is better than any reason it has to be.

Yes, I am properly protected for the journey.

One of the few things open today is a Chinese bakery at chinatown.

Picked up some hot dog buns, green onion buns and day old cha siu bao for the train this morning.

This is a vegan chili Verde with jackfruit. It's actually extremely impressive take on a pork chili Verde with no missing flavors.

Carmel custard is perfect with a slight Carmel bitterness making it well balanced with the sweetness.

Hard to complain for $25 on 3 courses. Problem is getting in.

I don't like to post places you can't easily get to. But this is seriously worth it.

French dip burger with caramelized onion French onion dip is devious.

Wanted an excuse to try this local hyped chili crisp Kari Kari.

Low heat, super garlicy. It's more garlic than chili. It doesn't conflict in my mind with laoganma.

Recommend getting a small jar at uwajimaya to try out.

Cooking at home.

Filipino adobo with pork and tofu. Done in the style finished with coconut milk, with ginger gailan and garlic rice.

This place really has no business being this good late at night. These aren't fantastic chicken strips or fish and chips for an Indian place. They are fantastic period.

Marinated in Indian spice before coating panko and frying. Amazing and affordable.
