Very true. I made a pact with myself not to hold bad cgi against good shows.

I say all this as a fan of both. DS9 was my favorite trek for years, but I never gave B5 a shot until maybe 5 years ago, and hot damn!

If you love DS9, but haven’t yet watched Babylon 5, I highly recommend it. Gonna be “that guy” and say that some unscrupulous exec ripped off a ton of it for the bones of DS9 and it shows. B5 was super ahead of it’s time for serialized story arcs planned from the beginning playing out over seasons.

The kids are calling it “Schiffing” and what it is, will reliably disappoint you.

I can’t wait to enjoy this! One of my favorite series of all time.
