I feel like not that long ago it was common for basically everyone to say “fuck the government.”

Now, the number of people lining up to be complicit is…it’s astonishing.

I have actually heard many of action movies described as “pornographic” because they eschew character and plot in favor of more explicit action set pieces.

I don’t know that I totally agree, but it’s something I often think about.

Reading this, I’m inclined to agree with the 2nd definition.

Ain’t that the truth! When my kid was in 3rd grade, they asked all the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up.

More than half the class said “YouTuber” 😐

(My kid said “Veterinarian/Rock Star”, which is kind of a cool combo 😄)

I unfortunately came of age when video stores were all but gone, so never had the chance, but it’s a life I have often romanticized 😁
