Would you use this language around your kitchen table?

Love this brilliant graphic by the fabulous @penmendonca.bsky.social, illustrating the 'five categories of hmmm words' @tricianicoll.bsky.social and I will be discussing in our #GloriouslyOrdinaryLanguage programme.

What words would you add?

“Really good & enjoyed it a lot. Feel real motivated to get some positive changes made”
“Lots to reflect on-thank you for a fab session”
“Put some fire in my belly post Xmas”

Just some of the fab feedback from session one of our #GloriouslyOrdinaryLanguage programme today @tricianicoll.bsky.social

Me & @tricianicoll.bsky.social are really looking forward to our first #GloriouslyOrdinaryLanguage session for councils on Friday, with Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, North Yorks & Hull Councils.

In session 1 we’ll focus on ‘purpose’ & how we communicate about what adult social care is all about.

Last day in Donny today… end of an era. I’ve worked in info, comms and practice development in adult social care in local councils since 2006… looking forward to the next chapter and continuing to challenge and change adult social care language and practice. #RewritingSocialCare
