Heading from the more scouse side of the Wirral over to the fancier side for a family do in West Kirby. On the map you can also see Thurstaston which means “Thor’s stone” because a few years ago, the Norse god Thor put a big stone on top of a hill. Not sure why but the view from there is amazing.

It’s Toffee’s 1st adoptaversary today!
One year ago she was hiding behind my toilet but within a week she’d destroyed a plant, spilt water and generally caused chaos and I knew it was going to be alright.
It’s been lovely seeing her gain confidence and I’m so glad I could provide a home for her.

It’s Toffee’s 1st adoptaversary today!

1992, I mean. We ran into a field to disrupt a shoot that was about to start. Rural police followed and managed to catch us up when we hit a newly ploughed field. But we stopped the shoot!

Belatedly realising that my beloved Spock cosplay wig (a dark brown 1960s synthetic number that belonged to my aunty back in the day) looks a lot more like the mop top wig that Chekov wears in some episodes. So my Spock cosplay was really "Beatles throwback with pointy eyebrows". Right era though.

I looked for the oldest selfie on my phone and found this from 2002. I was 30, I had many more piercings and far fewer tattoos, and was living with a psychotic cat who I loved to bits (brown tabby, not a tortie).
