Greetings, adventurer!
If you wish to venture into foreign land, why not add a wordsmith to your party?
Do not trust enchanted amulets that promise to make you speak every tongue, for their magic is unrefined. I can advise you on cultural habits so you do not get beheaded over a misunderstanding!
We're lucky to live in a time when there are so many good (non-isekai) fantasy anime coming out

"Dash" is one of the hardest words to translate in games imo. It can mean a million different things and there's just no way to tell which one it is unless you have access to the game to actually see the animation.

Not every game company is hopping onboard the AI hype train. Manor Lords publisher Hooded Horse bans gen AI art in its contracts.

Now to manage my finances and finally close this crazy week. Can't wait to get back to Blue Prince...

Just delivered a project and got confirmation of a new one (different client) within the same 10 minutes. I don't know what's happening but I won't complain!

I also have a project from a returning client today! Man, if only the world order hadn't been threatened, this would be a perfect week.

This year is already starting out great: a new partnership, an exciting project starting today, and lots of SNOW!!!

Still here, still working!

I've already got some fun little projects lined up for the first quarter of 2026... Hoping to hear some good news and add even more to the list :)

Nothing better on a Monday morning than a random stranger telling me I should learn more languages to open more doors because AI can already do my job. Sometimes I hate LinkedIn

So heartbreaking to see so many cool games localized by companies that don't pay their translators. I wish they would do a bit of research before picking their LSP.

Course finished, projects delivered, language learning goals reached... I'm very glad my schedule is freeing up, but now the challenge is finding work for the next 2 months 🫠

Translation tests are such a great learning opportunity. A well-made, challenging test shows you where you excel, as well as your weak points. Even if you don't pass, you can still learn so much from the experience.

Lots of exciting things happening! Hope I can share more soon :)

Happy Halloween! What scares me the most is having to translate soccer-related stuff.
I know, I'm a terrible Brazilian.

Today's goal: finishing my current project so I can go watch the new Hazbin Hotel season

I love the new WaniKani dashboard. Especially the little guy who gets mad if I'm doing too well

Looking forward to another busy week!
Game devs, hire me and help me make all weeks this wonderfully busy🥰

Another late-night meeting yesterday; or rather, today, as it started at 1 AM in my time zone. I'm doing surprisingly well for someone who's usually asleep by 10:30.
October 17, 2025 at 8:19 AM
I confirmed my availability and this is how the client responded. Maybe I'm doing something right, after all? 🤩
October 16, 2025 at 7:20 AM
Organized a meeting yesterday to give feedback on a project I proofread, and it was so good I honestly didn't even mind that it was 11 pm in my time zone. Seeing your colleagues' faces makes such a huge difference, I wish I could do this every time.
