That’s true (and there are some good reasons for it such as wealth taxation).
The 2015 proposal (20% over 2 mio) and the 2025 one (50% over 50 mio) seem so substantially different to me that it really can only been explained by either as you say consistent distaste or campaigning 😉

That’s true (and there are some good reasons for it such as wealth taxation).

But that’s also due to the way campaign funds a spent (opposition pays much more than proponents but also much more considering it’s such a „safe win“ for them and they pay for a landslide win) plus the classic forgetting of the revenues earmarking to climate in (social) media
