Got the new Xmas tree put up.

We've been using a small tabletop tree for a long time, so this is the first time in years almost all the ornaments here have been out of the big Christmas Barrel.

Leftover Improv, Thanksgiving edition:

Cornbread dressing (made with onions, celery and carrots), mixed with crumbled bacon, grated cheese, and an egg. Shaped into patties, pan-fried with a little bacon grease. Not bad.

Quite a change from your usual subject matter.

It made me think of how Kelly Freas did 400 portraits of saints for the Franciscans. (Hard to find examples online, because such an overwhelming amount is Freas' SF work.)
