One day I was driving and pulled over when I saw them in someone’s yard to count them - there were 17 of them!

I was caught off guard by how slick the sidewalks were in Milwaukee tonight. But your mentioning people being out of town highlights why sidewalk clearance should be a municipal service. I’m sure plenty of people left town without realizing things would get bad.

The power is back on!

We have laundry to do and I need to bake biscuits and cornbread for the stuffing and nothing works!

The irony, of course, is that I’m pretty sure we’ll be driving to the play. But at least we’ll have 5 passengers in one car!

Last night when having wine with dinner, my brother said: “This is the first alcohol I’ve had since the last time I was here.”

Me: “This is the last alcohol I’ve had since…Saturday.”

Once again, Wisconsin rocks.

We’re going grocery shopping tomorrow and I have a feeling we’ll be picking up some cheese. Part of me wants to take him to Woodman’s just so he can behold the majesty (I never go anymore because it’s too far away).

Usually washing it and line drying it works for me. I’m going to use some woolite tonight
