I picked up Rare 1 and The Cat People sound track on vinyl a year ago for not much money ..

I love cat people ..Giorgio Maroda is brilliant 👏

I've only played Rare a few times, but love having it in my collection.

Scott walker is still so expensive on vinyl as well .. he was not as well known in Australia.. im hoping to stumble apon some in an Opshop.. but probably not likely.

I always thought Tilda Swinton would be a great Bowie ..

He certainly enjoyed jumping out of the shallow end, whatever the results of the music.

He was the first one to be self effacing.. and make jokes about himself.

I think Blackstar and its perfect timing is what cemented the Bowie ledgend stuff..

And rightly so .. it was a super boss move, planed or not.

I dont think anyone that loves Bowie thinks he was some bastion of perfection.. its being over played in this article ..

He definitely had misses , and daggy moments..

But it never stopped him from moving forward..

Thats what I love about him , he inspires artistic bravery ..

My father is still able to smoke his pipe. They have a smoking part of the garden ..With his beard and old jacket he refuses to up grade..he looks like an old sea captin and smells terrible.
Smoking anything really is a terrible habit ..
