My life is busy, but I’m never too busy to enjoy what’s around me whether I’m walking down the street, travelling, or cooking breakfast on a Sunday. I look for beauty, & joy in simple pleasures. Life is too short to be so busy that I miss life itself!

I checked out how the mangoes were going yesterday while visiting family. If we don’t get a cyclone or extremely heavy rain & hail in the next 5-8 weeks there will be a good crop! 🥭✅👈🏽

I visited Auckland Art Gallery in the few hours before my flight home. There are a diverse range of exhibitions & works, including Brett Graham’s ‘Wastelands’, 2024 (www.aucklandartgallery.com/whats-on/exh...), which debuted at the 60th Venice Biennial. It’s a powerful & meaningful installation!

Now this geranium growing in a church garden along a street in Auckland CBD is different to others I’ve seen in Australia. It’s nice, interesting, & is growing near the community composting area. It looks like it’s doing well!
