If you look up "ghosts n goblins gameplay" the first result is gameplay footage of the arcade game by Media Pool. I get the vibes whoever was in charge of gathering material for editing didn't put much thought into what they were looking for.

Should also be noted that Metal Slader Glory: Director's Cut is also one of the few to have its own NP branded packaging, so technically this is the official box art but I personally don't quite count it.

Not official, Super Famicom Wars was a Nintendo Power kiosk exclusive and because of that it never saw a packaged release on its own. This is also the case for other NP exclusives as well such as Super Punch-Out and Metal Slader Glory: Director's Cut.

Nightmare in Dreamland for GBA is a full on remake of the Famicom/NES original. While it's technically a different experience the core game is generally the same.

Oh yeah I'll probably look into getting a dedicated software emulation handheld soonish. There's so many options these days I don't even know where to start.

Something that can at least run GameCube and Wii in a playable state as priority on my end is retro. In terms of form factor I can roll with anything to be honest.

This might actually be useful if you needed to softmod like a dozen systems all at once but even then it's not like this is any faster than existing methods.

I get that videos these days are just becoming movies in terms of length but I much prefer when videos are in a shorter more comfortable run time and something you can realistically finish on the spot. Worst case scenario cut it up into multiple parts or episodes.

Thanks for letting me know! I switched domain hosts recently so that's probably why.

I like my MMOJRPG visual novel point and click adventures to be rougelike with a hint of metroidvania.

I think it's more appropriate to call them "adaptations" rather than "ports" if said games are different enough. Where you draw the line on what constitutes a different game is rather fuzzy though.

Usually folks associate the lower brightness of these games to Virtual Console re-releases on Wii, 3DS, and Wii U. This was presumably done for similar reasons but retroactively applied to the rest of the library with no option to change it. At least we don't have to deal with it these days.

"They can't be trusted" and yet the "they" in question is a non-profit that cares more about video game preservation than the industry itself.

And I call it "Baseball RNG" at least in PowerFest '94.

The good news is that these ROMs are standalone .sfc files, the bad news is the compatibility isn't there yet. I have confirmed it doesn't currently work on the SD2SNES/FXPAKPRO flash cartridge.
