Nyx & Kalicum launched their challenge after Justice Catherine Murray found them guilty of drug trafficking 2 weeks ago.

Murray tee'd up the pair's charter challenge by repeatedly stating in her verdict that DULF saved lives.

This trial will go on for 3 weeks with a verdict expected in January 2026.

Both Jeremy Kalicum and Eris Nyx will be testifying, as will former BC chief coroner Lisa Lapointe, Dr. Brian Emerson (former BC deputy public health officer), and other experts.

Ksi Lisims LNG is in Carney's second list of priority "nation-building" projects; the first list in Sept. included expanding LNG Canada in Kitimat.
