I'm not wishing away anything but if we're not allowed to even have the conversations, to openly discuss and debate these issues then nothing will improve. There are no easy answers but can we at least have the difficult conversations?

How can one distinguish the predatory from the aggregate? Where is that clarity?

Profit, market certainty and economic growth (as that is currently defined) are the principal drivers to avoid short term 'turblance' but which act to degrade our very existence in the (not so) long term.

It's not something I'm unaware of however the economic system that has been allowed to have been created, and that sufficient believe in (the dialogue around it), works against the interests of our society as a whole and there's no harm in pointing that out.

Whilst I agree that "you can't fix that in one month, in one budget, or in one year", there's no excuse to continue the same fallacious rhetoric around the 'household budget' economy, immigration, austerity, Brexit, etc.

The messaging and mood music of this Labour government has been appalling.

If they could simultaneously also be unemployed for 12 months, stuck on the housing rental merry go round for 5 years and also prevented from using private dental care that would probably help.

Maybe force every politician to work full time in a frontline retail job for 12 months too.
