Rewatched Megalobox and while it came before the AI boom; Gear perfectly encapsulates everything that I hate about AI-making you slower and less technically skilled at what you're doing, even if it seems helpful. Gear users still lose to true skill. Anyway this is how it feels never using AI.

Blender 5 makes setting up a Lattice easier than ever. Select an object, or even multiple objects, and then from the Add menu choose Lattice Deform Selected. You can also use Lattices to add objects to the surface of another object, and to animate things. #blender #blender3d #b3d

Really good example of trying to foster AI doomerism in the comments I was describing. Even IF all of that is true (it's not, but sure), I can't stand the attitude of, well, since you *must* use X that's ethically compromised, you might as well just give up on everything! Just begging for a pass
