I’ve been working 12-14 hours a day 6 days a week the last 6 weeks and finally decided to leave work early so I could take a walk on the beach. It was really nice outside and I’m glad I did.

(1/100) Didn’t think the first picture that I liked for this year would come from my phone but here we are. It snowed in Florida!!! Walked around for a few miles last night to just check it out.

Totally didn’t see that one coming :p. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is by far my GotY in a year that saw so many amazing RPG’s.

Just finished the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth concert and it was magical. I’m so happy to have gotten this opportunity to go and I’ll be sure to be back for many more video game concerts!

Took advantage of that Amazon book sale and picked up all the encyclopedia Eorzea books for real cheap. Really wanna come back and play 14 when things slow down so maybe these will be a good refresher of the story!

After hours of working on it I finally got the airbrush squared away and at least got the combat patrol primed. Will have to leave it till Thursday to do more painting.

Painting up the army today with mostly airbrush and we didn’t forget the respirator this time!

Volupus Pink into all the inner exposed parts like the holes in its head and gun. Black on all the armor then a dry brush mix of black and Nacar to highlight the armor. Then just cram pigment into the armor to give that warn look. I put a pigment sealer over the top after. Waiting on dry time.

Next up Coelia Greenshade in all the joint bits, back of the head and the base of the tail. Caraburg Crimson on all the claws, mouth area and tail. Next Black Templar for the tips of the claws and hooves. Last bit is a dry brush of the Nacar to highlight the skin after the shades.

Finally got a day off to continue with the test. All the crackle paint and putty is now dry so I primed black followed by Scale75 Nacar for all the flesh parts.

Got my first immersive art rare today! So glad that Pokemon is just knocking it out of the park with cool arts for both the physical and now the digital TCG.

Starting out with a little Termagant and we are going to make his armor plating nice and nasty. Mixed some plastic putty and Tamiya extra thin cement and slapped it all over the armor followed by some GW Martian ironearth. Now to see how long before it’s sets and we can prime it.

Pardon the mess but finally finished building my combat patrol today! After 20 of them I’m pretty done building Termagants haha. Now to paint them all up! Going to borrow some ideas from a Cult of Paint video I saw and will document here!
