Post-game fit check with my Alpha Feraligatr Gustav! I loved the story, all the characters(except Jacinthe), and the new battle style. I will say everything else feels a bit lackluster. All the post-game stuff just feels very unengaging. Still one of my favorite Pokemon games to date.

My best friend's parents were "Auntie Mi and Uncle T" to my sisters growing up(they're my baby sister's godparents). My uncle's best friend was Auntie to us all, and her kids are still my cousins to me and always will be, blood be damned. This is the most desperate nothingburger I've ever read.

Simple answer is yes. A lot of the typical fantasy staples exist in Galen's world, but "monster" is a term reserved for man-made and otherworldly creatures. Giant bugs and dragons are just normal fauna. Galen's partner Jarna is considered a monster, as they're a type of chimera made using magic.
