I don’t understand why people are doing this. I travel with earplugs as routine now because of it.
the best part of traveling is a bunch of adults watching youtube videos on their phones on the external speakers because every person in this country is as smart and self-aware as an ipad kid now

I did read about 6 books this year, not great literature, on the way to work, the Metro is too light weight and I didnt want to be on my phone. I will try to double it and deepen in 2026
