Similarly, when I was in high school we had a busted VW van where to get into third gear, you had to push down on the shifter and then move it just barely to the right of first while holding it down. That thing was amazing.

I think there are pretty obvious cases where it’s more gerrymandering than just how people are and that’s where Dems can win statewide but not get close in state and federal district races.
