I fucking hate Christmas. For my entire adult life it had been either my mother's passive-aggressive bullshit or my mother-in-law's unyielding narcissism to make it a load of anguish, and now that they're both dead my sister-in-law has rushed in to fill the vacuum with her own brand of crap.
