It scares me that the US is horny for "offensive cyber operations" against China, as if they didn't lay off almost everyone responsible for coordinating cyber defense, decided not to pay the rest, and can't even get their critical infrastructure providers to patch 20 year old vulnerabilities.

To make more profits, JLR outsourced Security Operations, Enterprise Security Architecture, Governance Risk and Compliance, and IAM to TCS - and ultimately many of the existing staff got made redundant afterwards.

Should the government be on the hook here?

Just to clear up some misinfo, a BGP hijack was not the cause of Cloudflare DNS going down today.

At 21:51 UTC, Cloudflare (AS13335) withdrew both 1.1.1.0/24 and 1.0.0.0/24 for an unknown reason.

I suspect AS4755 was always announcing 1.1.1.0/24, when CF went away, it leaked a bit (%2).

Inside you there are two wolves. One is active, the other one is on hot standby and becomes active if the first one fails or is taken down for maintenance. Add more wolves as necessary for increased redundancy load balancing. A quorum badger can be added for environments with multiple active wolves.
