If I learn from my mistakes, then I'm now a genius. Opinions are only valid when powered by critical thinking. Open minds, canoes and bicycles make me happy.
I have the same problem and the same solution 🙂.
They work quite well.

Sharing here for some cross border 'pollinating' from my front lawn. I thought it was cool with just the bees, and then, in comes the butterfly!

This is what I call a real clusterpluck! 🙂

Blueberry season in this part of Newfoundland is peaking right now. Get yourself outdoors.

Often it's the lyrics. Sometimes it's the Hammond B-3 organ or the bass. On this one it's the piano. ❤️ @patricialbarber.bsky.social

Spotted on the Virginia River Trail, a family of 4 cyclists defying the No Cyclist Bylaws of St. John's! Imagine that! Parents wanting to spend quality, healthy time with their kids in a safer environment than on our streets. "Lock them up!" some say. Me nerves.

I canoe for this...
And maybe the caribou stew..and maybe the comraderie...and maybe because I still can.

I agree! Especially in a small remote river that's also home to wild Atlantic salmon.

Here's one in return 🙂.

A quiet moment on a favourite river. The salmon were elusive today but the beauty wasn't. Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 !

Lingonberry (aka partridgeberry/redberry or Vaccinium vitis-idaea) sundae at IKEA 🥰. We love the berry here in Newfoundland & Labrador but the Swedes really know how to market it! Well done!

My family and I were there! Us and just about 7000 other brand new fans! That first goal of the inaugural game by Ottawa's #14 Lee Min-A was a beauty.

Happy Earth Day. A favourite place of mine, in my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Ours to protect.

Is Bob Dylan the most covered singer-songwriter? If so, the reason is obvious.

Busted! A child breaking the law by riding her bicycle on this urban trail in St. John's Newfoundland. Make that make sense!! Kids on bicycles are a beautiful thing, legal or not.

If sinkin' was always as fun as it is with Nora Jones, life would be lived with reckless abandon...

I was in Paris last year for a week. Loved the place, the jazz music, the ease of getting around. What really enthralled me, though, were the everyday Parisians getting around that busy city on their bicycles. I will be going back! 🙂

We would have to be in some bad place with the Americans for me not to listen to Patricia Barber ❤️.

I was at the Kioti Grand Slam of Curling, Men's Final, tonight. I would say that I saw close to 30 people I knew there. Our small city did a great job of hosting a big event. Congratulations to Scotland's Team Mouat!

My usual winter attire, but I also have a gortex helmet cover that keeps my head dry and warmer.
I think that I have the same, indispensable Bar Mitts. Brrrr 🥶
