The Salon du Livre is about selling books. But it’s also about meeting people, like Philippe, a guy who arrived in Montreal from Haiti ten months ago. He told me he’d been watching hockey in Haiti since the 1980s on ESPN. He bought my book to learn a little more Habs history.
