@bluejaysmlb.bsky.social Hey Blue Jays! Arizona here. I wanted you to win so much - not that I had anything against the Dodgers but I wanted Canada to win as a poke in the eye to Trump. You did your 100% best! Thank you!

This was after Colbert was canceled. Which was two months ago.
Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

Trump, Kirk, and this entire regime are fascist through and through. They want violence. They want you to live in fear. They want death. They want destruction. But more than that, they want you to love them for it. They want you to thank them for it. They want you to give up your will to them.
this is quite genuinely insane, and I want to believe the backlash to this will be severe

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

I was just reading about Trump trying to take away "The Roadless Rule" for national public lands. He knows he'll die sometime in the near future and he wants his grave goods to be everything we treasure as a nation. Untrammeled forests? Wilderness? His! Not for your children or our future! His! His!

I am calling for an immediate emergency session of Congress to vote on the War Powers Resolution.

Honestly, on this one, my first thought is that they're actually trying to lose the midterms! Wait 'til SUWA gets ahold of these plans! Really, really shouldn't mess with Utah public lands (or any others) - There is a poop-load of Westerners that won't stand for this.

Donald Trump’s narcissism bears a striking resemblance to Benito Mussolini’s. Which does not bode well.

I want to tell you why the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia should matter to you.

The one power you cannot give the executive is the ability to imprison or expel anyone regardless of their legal rights. That is our key check against autocracy. And we are watching it disappear.
