I live in a very blue city, so our local elections were decided during the primary, but I still showed up today (and got to vote for our city's first woman of color to be mayor!)

I totally get the critiques of Airbnb, but as the only child willing/able to care for aging in extreme rural place parents, they are a godsend. Also, mine has chickens.

Do you think school districts will adapt to climate change, specifically figuring out how many snow days we need, so parents don't need to take random days off at the end of the school year to make up the ones we didn't use? Asking for a very unartistic mother.

You know, I used to think kids were just messy, but now that I have a nearly 5 year old, I realize all those toys around the house are elaborately staged diaromas that, if you moved them, would cause a meltdown.

There's a house in my home town that got hit by a tractor trailer and is located on a cliff so it was deemed unfit to live in. It just collapsed and I gotta give it to the commenter that said "we take house flipping seriously here "
