yeah! CDs and tapes are still really cheap. Definitely recommend hitting up any local record stores, too. Usually can get cds and tapes for a few bucks. They'll usually have some equipment too. It'll be more expensive than thrift stores but they've typically tested it. Gotta crank the jams brother

now you gotta start hittin up the thrift stores and eventually you might get lucky. found my cassette deck and cd player for cheap. not quite sure you'd find a decent record player these days, but I guess anything is possible. then you gotta get a phono preamp since most don't have one built-in.
