That’s a solid icebreaker gift! My old Air Force crew partner is Japanese, we were supposed to go… in 2020. I did get a nice pair of chopsticks, maybe can pick some out myself one day.

Chopsticks are sentimental, I have a few sets that are in rough shape but still keep them. The air fryer has fried zero things but is used almost exclusively over the oven. Haven’t needed to make anything for a large group, it’s more efficient in every way!

Food wise I had no huge plans but definitely want to get furikake rice seasoning from a local vendor, and lap cheong sausage for my dad. They have an entire aisle full of tableware and I want to buy every bowl and plate.
