The ongoing, tedious discourse about the Odyssey cast is funny. Nolan worked with Ken Branagh twice over in recent years, and Ken's "cast whomever the hell I want" standard for Shakespeare adaptations seems to have rubbed off on Nolan in a positive way. It's mythology, not history. It should be fun.

Revisited Branagh's CINDERELLA (2015), cinematography off the fucking charts, gloriously counter to what the live-action remake aesthetic became. It's dripping with contrast and hard sources, and hairlight/edgelight.
Paired with Sandy Powell's gowns, it's a SUMPTUOUS production.
