The tech nerd in me could not stand to toss or recycle a perfectly good Chromebook just because Samsung and Google no longer supported it. Took me an embarrassing long time but now have it running on Linux. LUbuntu. Years of secure computing to go #chromebook #samsung #ewaste #ubuntu

Wood ducks started hatching this morning. I counted 21 eggs two days ago. 5-6 hatched so far. learning it can take up to two days for all to hatch and then leave the nest. #ducks #woodducks #photography #nature

First duck of the season. I installed a cheap WiFi camera to a duck house when I cleaned it and put in new wood shavings last month. First duck arrived this week. Hope the cheap camera survives long enough to get more good pics. #photography #ducks #distraction
