Totally opposed to authoritarianism. No kings! Slava Ukraini!
Good to know. I am not an expert on philanthropy, except I've been hearing a lot of it is aimed at acquiring and maintaining political power even when run through "real" non-profits (as opposed to SuperPACs and evangelical churches).

It depends heavily on the non-profit, and if she required any concessions.

I only know that Laura Ingraham went to Dartmouth because I once read an appalling account of her time there. She went to a Gay Students Association meeting. And then printed the members' names in the school newspaper. This was during the height of the AIDS crisis. She is evil.

They almost understand. Imagine Medicaid for All - imagine the whole country negotiating prices...and taking over physician training quotas from the AMA to ensure enough supply.

She must be a Democrat or he wouldn't like her much. LOL

HCR is an historian, and I think her contributions are valuable when they show the parallels in history, and when 🍊💩 or his minions are doing something unprecedented. I also like how she sticks to the facts even when angry.

14/ Again, normally I don't attack anyone personally. I don't think I am doing so here. I am criticizing the demand to be 100% loyal and not criticize one of the fundraising arms of the party. I think such demands aren't appropriate.

13/ At that point, Mickey Kuhns blocked me. I don't believe I deserved to be blocked just because we differed in opinion. It also seems to me like he was desperate to defend the Democratic party as currently run and funded.

12/ If they simply supported chosen (by primary) candidates, fine. Meddling in primaries wastes money and is counterproductive.
December 9, 2025 at 7:43 PM
11/ I continued: I disagree [with your last response]. The DNC & other institutional fundraisers support candidates they consider "electable" w/o paying attention to what voters want. THEY ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
December 9, 2025 at 7:42 PM
10/ Me: And you missed my point. Reforming the DNC is crucial to reforming the Democratic Party into something the average person trusts and can relate to. Without that, the Rethuglikkkans will continue to walk over the nation as the "none of the above/nonvoters" refuse to engage.
December 9, 2025 at 7:41 PM
9/ MK last response: He said I missed the point, and reiterated that criticizing the DNC causes disengagement and hurts Democrats.
December 9, 2025 at 7:41 PM
8/ Me: Backing Hillary (any candidate) & backing the DNC are 2 different things. Voting v. DNC are 2 different things. The DNC is not the Democratic party. You didn't answer my question: Why should I trust the DNC, considering its previous behavior, with not even an apology or promise to do better?
December 9, 2025 at 7:40 PM
7/ MK: He argued Bernie Sanders knew not to torch the DNC and supported Hillary in 2016, and so I shouldn't badmouth the DNC in public because it causes disengagement and hurts Democrats.
December 9, 2025 at 7:40 PM
6/ Me: That's rude & untrue. I absolutely did NOT say to stop voting or donating. I contribute plenty to individual candidates. Why is putting the DNC between me & the candidates a winning strategy, especially given their poor choices (to say the least)? Why should I trust them? Cuellar was 💯 DINO.
December 9, 2025 at 7:39 PM
5/ MK responded by sarcastically saying how good it is for Rs b/c to publicly attacks Democratic fundraising, encouraging disengagement & voting. (Again, MK blocked me so I don't have his exact words. I don't know how Bluesky works, but his side may be available to people he hasn't blocked.)
December 9, 2025 at 7:38 PM
4/ Me: This is why I refuse to give a dime to the DNC, the DCCC, or the DSCC. To pick an anti-choice corporatist criminal over a progressive was wrong. I won't forgive until they publish an apology & a promise not to interfere in primaries.
December 9, 2025 at 7:36 PM
3/ Anita72(bsky.social) replied: Maybe. But [Cuellar is] more useful to Trump [as a spy] in committee rooms. Jeffries is a fool if he doesn't remove him from committees, & fuck Pelosi for getting him reelected as they had a good progressive* running against him. I hope she* runs again.
