David Lynch's passing calls me to recall "The Perfect Drug," written for Lynch's Lost Highway, a personal NIN fave, though I'd not ever seen the video for it, it's amazing in a real "More goth, no, more goth than that, what part of 'more goth' do you not understand" sort of way

2024 was a big year of a lot of important firsts for me but I think the most impactful one was my first time on a genuinely huge rollercoaster. may not seem like a big deal to some but my fear of heights was once so bad there were some stairs I couldn’t climb

finally playing cyberpunk 2077 and this is the first game in a long time that's got me strolling around just to enjoy the scenery, listen in on npc conversations, and read all the posters and graffiti. this also happens to be what i do irl every day so i might just be a fan of the "city" experience
